Suicide Video of Ravi Kumar, Man who ended life due to false dowry case
Ravi Kumar ended life as his wife, who stayed with him just for 15 days filed a false dowry case on him and his family. In this suicide video he shares how just an accusation by his wife made him and his family a criminal, a pain he could not bear. Every year lacs of men and women get arrested in India under 498A also known as anti dowry law. Mere verbal accusations under this section lands a man and his entire family and even distant relatives, whosoever is named, behind bars. Thousands of men and their family members have ended their life because of the harassment meted out to them because of being accused under this section. In december 2017, another young lawyer from Delhi committed suicide because of false accusations by his ex-wife and his torture because of it. He left a 13 page suicide note.
